Big Red Jelly
Here in the south we love our Big Red. Known for its unique taste and red color it was developed in Waco around 1937 by Texas Native Grover C. Thomsen. Though often thought to carry the taste of bubble gum its flavor is a combination of lemon & orange, topped off by a pure vanilla that offers a creamy after taste. This sweet flavor pairs well with the charred taste of a well cooked brisket or ribs. Try it on hot biscuits, as a drink mixer or ice cream topper.
